摘要
The fracture and deformation of two-dimensional electromagnetic elastic plates in a uniform static magnetic field is investigated. Many first wall components of the magnetic fusion reactor will function in a strong magnetic field. First, we consider the electromagnetoleastic problem of a conducting plate of finite width containing a through crack under a uniform electric current flow and a constant magnetic field. The electromagnetic twisting moment intensity factor is obtained for several values of geometrical parameters. Secondly, we consider the scattering of time harmonic flexural waves by a through crack in a conducting plate under a uniform magnetic field. The dynamic moment intensity factor versus frequency is computed and the influence of the magnetic field on the normalized values is graphically displayed. Lastly, we consider the propagation of transverse elastic wavers in a magnetically saturated plate in a uniform magnetic field. The influence of the magnetoelastic interaction on the wave propagation is discussed in connection with the dynamic fracture behavior.
