摘要
Decomposition of **1**4C-labeled rice straw in aerobic and submerged rice soils was studied in the field for 4 years in the Philippines. During the first year, 80-90% of **1**4C was lost. Mineralization of stabilized residues and metabolic products then followed a logarithmic function indicating halflives of about 2 years in all soils.
