摘要
The links of planar six-bar crank mechanisms with only revolute pairs are arranged in some parallel planes to avoid mutual interference of the moving links. A list is given of the types of mechanisms that cannot be constructed as crank mechanisms only by the arrangement of each link to one of the parallel planes. For such mechanisms, pairs on the same link are proposed to be arranged separately in different planes, and the minimum number of the planes required to construct crank mechanisms is investigated.
