摘要:
It is only during the last decade or so that the extensive scientific and applied research potential of monomolecular layers, prepared using the Langmuir trough technique, has been appreciated. Their precise thickness coupled with the degree of control over the molecular architecture has now firmly established a role for Langmuir-Blodgett films in thin film technology. This article describes briefly the preparation and characterization of monolayer and multilayer films and reviews many of their potential applications. Particular emphasis is placed on their use in microelectronics and as transducers.
