THE POSSIBILITY OF AN EXCITONIC FAST AND NEARLY LOSSLESS ENERGY-TRANSFER IN BIOMOLECULAR SYSTEMS

摘要
Time evolution of exciton trapping in monomolecular systems has been investigated in this paper using a numerical simulation. The condition for efficient exciton capture is found by solving explicitly the Schrodinger equation in position space. We have shown that, for the optimal choice of model parameters, the process can be fast and very efficient.
