摘要
The recombination of nitrogen and oxygen atoms gives rise to NOβ emission. The quenching of this emission at {most positive} 3000 Å by H2, NO2 and H2O is shown to occur by direct interactions of the quenching agent with NO(B2P{cyrillic})v' = 0. Based on a radiative lifetime 3x10-6 see for this state. the following rate constants fopr Quenching are derived: {A table is presented}. © 1968.
