摘要
Specific heats and thermal conductivities of the 'dense Kondo' system CeB//6, and of LaB//6, have been measured over large ranges of temperature and magnetic field. From the analysis of the CeB//6 specific heat, there is evidence of a GAMMA //8 ground state for Ce**3** minus ions. The large differences between the thermal conductivities of CeB//6 and LaB//6 are discussed.
