摘要
A multiple-scattering EXAFS study of nanocrystalline iron prepared by high-energy ball milling is presented. A dramatic decrease of the coordination numbers, assigned to the presence of a large defect density, is found as a function of the milling time. An ''in situ'' annealing (up to about 1100 degrees C) is shown to reduce the density of the defects.
