NEW SANS INSTRUMENT AT THE BER-II REACTOR IN BERLIN, GERMANY

The paper gives a general description of the new SANS spectrometer which has recently been completed and is open for the user community now. Following the presentation of instrumental set-up highlights, the performance is discussed using results of extensive flux and wavelength calibration measurements. The discussion is rounded off by some examples showing the versatility of the instrument for different kinds of application.
