摘要
Different photochemical approaches for the synthesis of 5-aryl and 5-heteroaryl-2'-deoxycytidines are reported. In one approach the photolytic reaction of 5-iodo-2'-deoxycytidine in the presence of arenes or heteroarenes is described. Alternatively, the photolysis of haloarenes or haloheteroarenes in the presence of 2'-deoxycytidine was utilized.
