摘要
Previous papers have presented techniques for modelling voltage forced coils using the magnetic vector potential [1],[2]. The disadvantage of this approach is that the structure of the coil must be meshed, and the coil region must be modelled using 3 variables per node. The scheme presented in this paper is based on the method of modelling current sources using a reduced scalar potential [3]. The current becomes an unknown and an expression for the terminal voltage is derived. This technique removes the difficulties of meshing the source coils.
