摘要
A Brownian dynamics algorithm is used to simulate sheared suspensions of particles forming an aggregate network at rest. The shear and interaction forces interplay to give a complex nonequilibrium phase diagram: a variety of shear-induced agglomerates form at low shear rate, but, for shear rates above a nonequilibrium phase boundary the agglomerates develop interfaces predominantly orientated parallel to the shear gradient/shearing velocity plane.
