摘要
Catalytic quantities of transition metal alkoxides such as Ti(OiPr)(4) have been found to accelerate dramatically the rate of catecholborane and BH3.THF reductions of ketones. Experiments suggest catalysis is achieved by the formation of alkoxyborohydrides.
