摘要
The effect of the addition of cupric ions Cu2+ on the corrosion of an aluminium 6063 alloy in natural water is studied using gavimetric, electrochemical and metallographic methods. The 6063 alloy shows a passivation phenomenon with rupture of passivity by localized attack. The addition of cupric ions at a concentration less than 5.10(-5) M leads to an inhibition of the corrosion of the 6063 alloy. For concentrations higher than 5.10(-5) M, an accelerated attack occurs. An action mechanism of the cupric ions is suggested.
