The excess molar volumes of (butan-2,3-diol + butan-2-ol or 2-methylpropan-1-ol or 2-methylpropan-2-ol) and (dichloromethane + butan-1-ol or butan-2-ol or 2-methylpropan-1-ol or 2-methylpropan-2-ol or butan-1,3-diol or butan-2,3-diol), measured at the temperature 303.15 K by a dilatometric method, are reported. Experimental excess volumes are positive for all mixtures except for (butan-2,3-diol + 2-methylpropan-1-ol or 2-methylpropan-2-ol). © 1993 Academic Press Ltd.
