STABLE 2-MODE OPERATION OF A HIGH-POWER PULSED LASER WITH SMALL-SIGNAL INJECTION

摘要
Control of two-longitudinal-mode lasing of a high-power pulsed laser is achieved for the first time with small-signal injection. Experiments are carried out with an unstable-resonator TEA CO//2 laser. Results are well interpreted by a small-signal model of injection-locking. Continuity between injection-locking and injection mode-locking is clearly established.
