摘要
Recent studies of representatives of the family Receptaculitaceae (Receptaculitidae) suggest that it comprises dasycladacean‐like algae which flourished in warm shallow seas, perhaps largely confined to within 15° of the paleoequator. Ischadites (Neoischadites) n. subg. is erected. The type species is Ischadites (Neoischadites) struszi n. sp., from the Lower Devonian Garra Formation of central western New South Wales, Australia.
