摘要：

The fitted parameters in the Paris law for fatigue crack growth are considered. By drawing on recent compendiums of sources of these parameters, representative values and their distributions are obtained. For two different aluminium alloys, under quite similar loading and environmental conditions, the survey finds that the variability in parameters is such as to raise serious questions concerning the usefulness of any representative values in practice. © 1990.
