THE RELATION BETWEEN DISCHARGE CAPACITIES AND DISCHARGE CURRENT DENSITIES OF HYDRIDE ELECTRODES

摘要
A mathematical model for the relation between the discharge capacities and discharging current densities of hydride electrodes was deduced on the basis of the criterion that the discharging rate depends mainly on the rate of hydrogen diffusion in LaNi5-type multicomponent hydride electrodes. The deduced equation fitted in well with the experimental results of the misch metal multicomponent hydride electrodes in electrochemical cells.
