摘要：

A comparative study of the most popular parton parametizations is presented. The individual parton distributions as well as the F2 structure function are discussed with a particular emphasis on the low x region, 10(-4) < x < 10(-2). The predictions of these parametrizations for the F2 structure function have a wide spread which persists also in the HERA kinematical region.
