摘要
One of the most interesting features of rotating nuclei is the possibility to study how specific configurations, which show up as collective relational bands at intermediate spin values, gradually lose their collectivity and terminate in a non-collective state at the maximal spin which can be built within the configuration. The best example of such configurations known at present (in the neutron-deficient A similar to 110 region) have several valence particles outside a Sn-100 core and typically 2 proton holes in the g(9/2) orbitals. Bands of this type are described in the configuration-dependent shell-correction approach within the cranking model. We investigate how the different particles align their spin vectors, how they contribute to build the J((2)) moment of inertia and how the shape changes as a function of spin, We concentrate on the nucleus Sb-111, where high-spin bands coming close to termination have been observed over a wide spin range, but we also consider how the different properties vary with proton and neutron number.
