COMPUTER-SIMULATION OF WAVE COLLAPSES IN THE NONLINEAR SCHRODINGER-EQUATION

摘要
The self-tuning numerical scheme for simulation of collapse phenomena in the framework of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation is developed. The scheme allows to reach extremely high field amplitudes (\PSI\2/\PSI-0\2 approximately 10(15)) without lack of validity. Numerical results are compared with analytical predictions.
