摘要
For the first time, four leading professional organizations have reached a consensus about the specific and overall standards of care for breast-conservation treatment for women with breast cancer. This landmark report summarizes the literature to date and discusses patient selection and evaluation, the technical aspects of surgical treatment and irradiation, follow-up care, and areas for further research.
