摘要
Raman spectra of hydrogen sulfide excited at nine wavelengths throughout its first absorption feature in the 180-250 nm region are reported. The spectra are dominated by transitions to S-H stretching overtone states. Several bands corresponding to combinations involving one quantum of the bending vibration are also observed. The intensity pattern varies significantly with excitation energy. These results are interpreted in terms of the nature and number of the excited state potential energy surface(s) in this spectral region. © 1990.
