摘要
The steadying of wagon movement down a hump is the focus of permanent interest of numerous researchers working on the planning of marshalling capacities or dealing with the evaluation of attendant devices and equipment. The complexity of the humping process is due to the existence of a large number of influential factors, mostly variable, many of them existing regardless of our will, and some of them being of a random character. Its investigation requires further research into the nature of particular factors and the quantification of their impact on the observed process.
