A NOVEL TIME-DOMAIN METHOD TO ANALYZE MULTICOMPONENT EXPONENTIAL TRANSIENTS

摘要
In very different areas of science and engineering, there appears the problem of analysing exponentially decaying responses. In this paper, a new method for analysis of multicomponent exponential decays is presented. The method is based on multi-differentiation of the transient in the logarithm of time. The influence of the S/N ratio on resolution is carefully studied.
