CALCULATION OF CONDUCTOR LOSS IN COPLANAR WAVE-GUIDE USING CONFORMAL MAPPING

摘要
A quasistatic model for coplanar waveguide (CPW) including conductor loss has been developed. The CPW is conformally-mapped into a parallel plate configuration, where conductor loss is evaluated using a conductor surface impedance which is scaled by the conformal map. Both skin depth and current crowding in the CPW are accounted for Comparison between experimental measurements on low-loss dielectric substrates and this model show excellent agreement.
