DETERMINATION OF THE ORDER-PARAMETER CRITICAL EXPONENT OF AN IRREVERSIBLE DIMER-MONOMER SURFACE-REACTION MODEL

摘要
A method is proposed for the evaluation of the order-parameter critical exponent of continuous irreversible phase transitions in surface-reaction models. An application to a dimer-monomer model in two dimensions gives the best available value, namely, beta congruent-to 0.578 +/- 0.010, in excellent agreement with Reggeon field theory.
