RANDOM IMPURITY EFFECTS IN SYSTEMS WITH FRUSTRATING INTERACTIONS

摘要
It is argued that impurities in a system with frustrating interactions play a similar role as random fields in a usual ferromagnetic system and destroy a periodic spin structure of the system. Results of Monte Carlo studies of a dilute antiferromagnetic Ising model on the triangular and the hexagonal lattices, which confirm present arguments, are also presented.
