摘要
Polythienylenevinylenes were prepared by the palladium catalyzed coupling reaction of 2,5-diiodothiophenes and 1,2-bistributylstannylethylene. The presence of an alkyl chain longer than 4 carbon atoms in the 3 position of the thiophene repeating unit gives solubility to the polymer. The structures of the polymer have been confirmed by C-13-NMR and the optical properties have been studied with FTIR and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Conductivities are in the range of 10(-2) S/cm.
