摘要
Measurements of flow resistance in several corrugated tubes were made with the test fluid M1, at Reynolds numbers less than unity. The Deborah numbers were well above unity but no viscoelastic effect was detected. A numerical scheme based on a mixed pseudospectral-finite difference discretization of the continuum was used to predict flow resistance, assuming that M1 is an Oldroyd-B fluid. The agreement between numerical results and experimental data is good. © 1990.
