摘要
Reaction of triethyl orthoesters with various N,N'-dialkyl-alpha,omega-alkanediamines in the presence of ammonium tetrafluoroborate or hexafluorophosphate, all in the same molar ratio, affords cyclic amidinium salts in excellent yields.
