摘要
Charge‐separation reactions of the doubly charged molecular ion of bradykinin, generated by fast‐atom bombardment, were studied. The same types of reactions occurred as in singly charged ions, but fragmentations around the middle of the peptide chain were much more abundant. This suggests that charge separation of doubly charged ions may provide more sequence information than fragmentation of singly charged species. Copyright © 1990 Heyden & Son Limited
