摘要
We have calculated the total dielectronic recombination rate coefficient for S(q+) (q = 1-5) ions, in the low-density limit. We tabulate results over the temperature range T = 3 x 10(4)-10(6) K. At electron temperatures (approximately 10(5) K) and densities (less-than-or-equal-to 10(4) cm-3) applicable to the Io plasma torus, these results differ substantially from existing data.
