摘要
Uranium has been extracted from an uranyl nitrate solution, using both raw and sulfonated kerosene as diluent. The spectra of crude and sulfonated kerosene show that sulfonation preferentially eliminates non-saturated compounds and non-saturated with aromatic rings. The nature of the diluent influences appreciably the whole extraction system: the phase disengaging time was reduced two fold, the quantity of uranium extracted was greater and that of co-extractable elements reduced when sulfonated kerosene was used. © 1990.
