摘要
The use of constant flow rates have, to date, dominated the theory and the praxis of flow Injection analyste. A closer look at the theoretical principles underlying this technique suggests, however, that a reproducible flow pattern is the only prerequisite for successful implementation of the this technique. This leads to a consideration of stopped flow and flow reversal based on sinusoidal flow patterns, generated by a simple robust cam-driven computer-controlled piston pump. The reproducibility of the sinusoidal flow injection system, designed primarily for process control applications, is experimentally demonstrated. © 1990, American Chemical Society.
