摘要
This system would be characterized by the presence of two fundamental mixed crystal fields: the first (0≤x≤0.5) formed by solids with tetragonal symmetry, deriving from Ba2CuO3+δ; the second (0.7≤x≤2) formed by solids with orthorhombic symmetry and structurally related to Sr2CuO3 characterized by a preferential presence of oxygen vacancies along bo. The solids whose compositions are in the range 0.5≤ x ≤0.7 would result in a mechanical mixture of the limit terms of the two above fields. However, inside the large field of orthorhombic mixed crystals, in some terms with 0.8≤x≤1 a structure ordered in respect to Ba and Sr ions would appear, which could imply appreciable changes of the cell parameters and oxygen content. © 1990.
