摘要
Sweeping of dipolar dislocation loops by glide dislocations and drift of the loops to stress concentrators initiate the formation of dipolar dislocation structures. The model which incorporates both the mechanisms consists of the balance law for the dipolar loops, the differ ential equation describing the average shape of the glide dislocations moving through a field of obstacles, and the continuum mechanics equations for stress and strain. The characteristic wavelength of the early stage dislocation structure formed by the proposed mechanisms is determined by the linear stability analysis of the model.
