摘要
The author demonstrates that even a simple steel such as Fe-Ni-C can exhibit a nearly perfect shape memory effect if certain conditions are satisfied. Two Fe-Ni-C alloys with different carbon contents were used: Fe-31Ni-0. 4C and Fe-27Ni-0. 8C (mass%). The austenite was strengthened by ausforming, which improved the shape memory effect.
