摘要
The frictional behavior of oxide coated and thin film metallic recording disks is investigated in sliding contact with ferrite, calcium titanate, and alumina titanium carbide sliders. The dependence of the friction coefficient on velocity and the number of repeated disk revolutions is studied, and the mechanism of friction and failure is investigated for both unlubricated and lubricated oxide and thin film disks. © 1990 IEEE
