摘要
Previous studies have revealed that a square-root dependence of twin spacing with grain size exists for perovskite materials and equations relating twin spacing to wall energy have been derived on the basis of a balance of energies associated with the tetragonal → orthorhombic transformation. Based upon these equations and the experimental measured twin spacing, an estimate is made of the wall energy associated with the formation of the observed twins in Y1Ba1Cu307δ ("123"). © 1990.
