摘要
The major concern in applying catalytic DeNO(x) for the removal of NO(x) from flue gas is deactivation or poisoning of the catalyst, caused by poisons present in the flue gas. Evidently, a decreasing NO(x) removal efficiency will lead to an increasing emission of NO(x) and eventually to ammonia slip. In order to check the behaviour of DeNO(x) elements they have to be tested at regular intervals. For this purpose KEMA has developed a test programme, which includes catalyst activity and selectivity tests in a bench-scale system, together with surface analysis. By combining these techniques valuable information on ageing and fouling processes are obtained. In this paper these test procedures are described.
