THE INFLUENCE OF UNDERLAYERS ON THE MAGNETOOPTIC PROPERTIES OF ELECTROLESSLY DEPOSITED CONIREWP FILMS

摘要
This paper describes the effects of NiXP (X = W, Re, Fe, Zn) underlayers on the magneto-optic properties and structure of electroless Co43Ni40Re12W2P3 films. The double-layered films were deposited on glass substrates. When electroless Ni91W6P3 films oriented in the (111) plane were used as underlayers, the Kerr-rotation angle (theta(k)) of electroless Co43Ni40Re12W2P3 films increased to 0.13-degrees. The reflectivity was 78%.
