摘要
Temporal measurements of the third-order susceptibility were performed in PbTiO3 with use of a forward-nondegenerate four-wave-mixing technique. We resolved, on a femtosecond time scale, the transient behavior of the lowest A1 polariton mode and measured its dispersion versus the magnitude of the wave vector. The deduced value of the dielectric constant (0) is in good agreement with previous estimations. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
