摘要
Electrochemical reversibility has been found for organometallic redox couples R6Sn2/R3Sn+. Formal standard potentials Eo at a platinized platinum electrode have been determined for the systems having R = Me, Et, Bu and Ph in methanol and in methanol/benzene. The presence of R3Sn radicals at the platinized platinum electrode-solution interface seems to be responsible for the reversibility. The Eo values obtained under different conditions, are discussed. © 1968.
