摘要
A core type electromagnetic helical microwiggler, which has three poles in a period of 6.6 mm and a field strength of 5 kG (K = 0.3) was developed, with the intention of generating radiation with a wavelength of few tens mum using an electron beam with an energy of 6 MeV. This structure has the advantage of a small total leakage field between neighboring poles in the core. As a first stage, we manufactured a threefold-enlarged trial wiggler with the same structure as the original design. The field measurements are used to adjust the final design of the microwiggler.
