摘要：

Gateway Controller connecting a Home Automation (HA) system with an Automatic Meter Reading System was developed. The Gateway Controller was composed of the lower and upper layer protocol translators, between which the intermediate protocol was defined. Easy exchanges of the lower protocol translator enable the Gateway Controller to adapt to any external network out of homes. The Gateway Controller improves information-handling capability of HA system.
