摘要
In order to determine the correct photoinduced electron transfer rates in heterogeneous LB films by luminescence lifetime measurements with pulsed laser excitation, we studied the effects of i) photooxidation, ii) dilution with arachidic acid, iii) inorganic salts added in the subphase, and iv) observed wavelength on the luminescence decay curves. The effects of ii) and iii) were negligible as causes of the short lifetime components. Thus the lifetime measurements were done at various emission wavelengths for the heterogeneous LB films prepared in the dark. The decay components for the heterogeneous LB films with and without ferrocene donor layers were compared to clarify the electron transfer quenching proceses for S/D systems. © 1990, The Society of Polymer Science, Japan.
