摘要
Several Nasicon compositions including zirconia-deficient and sodium-oxide-rich materials were prepared. Sodium-sodium conductivity tests indicate a degradation of the Nasicon material and/or a blockage of conduction paths by impurities in the sodium metal. Complex-plane impedance results show that the presence of zirconia second-phase material inhibits ionic conductivity and excess sodium oxide enhances sodium-ion conduction. The merits of various conductivity-measurement techniques are discussed.
