ALKOXYSILYLAMIDES OF NEODYMIUM, SAMARIUM AND YTTERBIUM - 4-MEMBERED INORGANIC RINGS IN THE CHEMISTRY OF LANTHANIDES

摘要
Li[Me2Si(O(t)Bu)(N(t)Bu)] (1) reacts with YbI2 to give the ytterbium(II)alkoxysilylamide [Me2Si(O(t)Bu)(N(t)Bu)]2Yb(THF)2 (2). The analogous reaction of 1 with SmI2 yields the samarium(III) derivative [Me2Si(O(t)Bu)(N(t)Bu)]2Sm(mu-I)2Li(THF)2 (3). Moreover, the preparation of [Me2Si(O(t)Bu)(N(t)Bu)]3Nd (4) and [Me2Si(O(t)Bu)(N(t)Bu)]2Yb(mu-Cl)2Li(THF)2 (5) is described. The molecular structures of 4 and 5 have been determined by X-ray crystallography.
